SAGE GENERAL STORE - Long Island City, Queens (June 2012)
This
tiny restaurant is nestled in between a wine shop and a Bank of America, and looks much more like a store than an eatery - an idea further perpetuated by the name. The
inside is surprisingly charming, and boasts framed articles about the food and assorted decor - both of which can be purchased by guests. We split a 1/2 chicken and some fancy mac-n-cheese (pictured below) and were served our
sodas in mason jars.
